WHAT IS THE FLORIDA BLACK EXCELLENCE FESTIVAL?
OUR MISSION
The purpose of the Florida Black Excellence Festival is to promote economic development through increased exposure for minority-owned businesses. African American -owned businesses have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to the public and procurement. It is also an opportunity for major corporations and government entities to develop viable working relationships with minority-owned businesses while marketing their products and services to the growing consumer market. The Fest is also a forum to educate, enlighten and inspire the entire community and the African-American community in particular. Aside from economic development, exposure to cultural resources is a part of the focus for this event.

At its height, The Florida Black Excellence Festival in Jacksonville attracted over 16,000 Attendees. The Fest offered participants engagement, education, and entertainment with over 300 retail vendors, corporate entities, community and governmental agencies in a creative, high-energy setting.
The Fest returns June 25 - 28, 2025 bigger and better than ever with a series of events celebrating and recognizing Black Excellence.

OUR PURPOSE
The Florida Black Excellence Festival returns to Jacksonville, FL…Bigger, Bolder, and Better than EVER for a Bigger, Bolder, Better YOU! Our goal for the 2025 Florida Black Excellence Festival is to have every participant, whether they be a consumer, youth, local small business, community organization, or local/national corporation, leave the Fest better than they came.
To accomplish this lofty goal we have realigned the Florida Black Excellence Festival to target specific need areas identified as critical for African Americans. By attending the 2025 Florida Black Excellence Festival, our community will experience the Six Columns of Economic Success: Entrepreneurship, Jobs, Education & Culture, Health & Wealth Creation.
